Why This Initiative?
Shortflicks Screen & Speak is designed to popularize Shortflicks Entertainment and create a dedicated platform where filmmakers can showcase their short films on the big screen.
Organised in collaboration with the International Kolkata Short Film Festival (IKSFF) and in association with Eventizer, this initiative bridges the gap between short filmmakers and theatrical audiences.
While most short films remain limited to festivals or YouTube, audiences today are increasingly drawn to impactful short-format storytelling. This platform offers big-screen screening, filmmaker interaction, and media exposure — giving short films the recognition they deserve.
Edition I marks the beginning of an annual celebration of short cinema.
