WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL KOLKATA SHORT FILM FESTIVAL | IKSFF
In the midst of the global pandemic in 2020, while the world grappled with uncertainty and the entertainment industry struggled to survive, a spark of resilience was ignited. The digital shift was daunting, especially for independent creators—but from this chaos, Eventizer emerged.
Founded by the visionary Sourav Chakraborty, Chairman, and the passionate Saswati Guha Chakraborty, Festival Director, Eventizer started as an online ticketing and promotional platform. Backed by Prismhub Online Solutions Pvt. Ltd., it soon became a lifeline for artists, offering a space to showcase their work and earn the recognition and income they deserved.
From this powerful mission, the International Kolkata Short Film Festival (IKSFF) was born—a hybrid cinematic celebration embracing Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, and PSAs, honoring the creative spark of storytellers worldwide.
Now in its sixth glorious year, IKSFF stands as a symbol of passion, perseverance, and community. What began as a humble initiative is now a global platform—a place where voices are heard, visions are shared, and stories come to life.
